Generate flashcards -- Use the AI assistant to generate flashcards from your notes, or create them manually.
Study -- Review your flashcards using the built-in spaced repetition system based on the forgetting curve.
Sync across devices -- Your notes and flashcards sync automatically via iCloud across all your Apple devices.

Where is my data stored?

Your data is stored securely in your personal iCloud account. We do not have access to your notes or flashcards.

Does the AI feature share my data?

When you use the optional AI-powered flashcard generation, your note context is shared with the LLM vendor to process your request. This only happens when you actively choose to use AI features.

Which devices are supported?

Flash Notes is available on iOS 17.0+ (iPhone and iPad) and macOS 14.0+ (Mac).

How does sync work?

Flash Notes uses CRDT (Conflict-free Replicated Data Type) technology for reliable, error-free data synchronisation across all your devices via iCloud.
