Report Infringing Content:

Only the intellectual property rights owner can report potentially infringing content to Luvo. If you are not the rights owner, you can help by reaching out to the rights owner and encouraging them to contact us. If you are the rights owner to any content posted on Luvo without your consent please contact us. To report content that violates your rights, either email the Registered Luvo Agent at the email listed below with the subject line DMCA Violation, or complete and mail this form to the address below.

Action Against Repeat Infringers:

Luvo does not tolerate the misuse of its marketplace by those who knowingly infringe on the intellectual property rights of content owners. When we notice that a piece of copyrighted content has been posted on the Luvo site we take the following action steps:

  1. Promptly remove the infringing material.
  2. Send a message to the user posting the material informing them of the takedown and providing them with links to educate them on the importance of following copyright rules and warning them about future action for continued failure to comply.
  3. Should a review of the user's account reveal that there have been prior postings of infringing material, we will take further action including the removal of that user's ability to use Luvo and possible reporting to that user’s Academic Integrity Office.

Alleged Infringers Right to Submit a Counter Notice:

The ability to submit a counter notice is provided under the federal Digital Millennium Copyright Act. Once we receive a valid counter notice, we'll provide a copy of the notice to the rights owner and inform them that the content will be reinstated after 10 business days if they don't inform us that they have filed an action seeking a court order to restrain you from relisting.
